The sun went down. Moon slowly opened his big, bright eyes. He yawned and stretched his crescent shape. Moon was excited for a new night adventure.

“Time to wake up!” Moon called out. His voice echoed across the dark sky.

Fluffy clouds began to stir all around him. They floated and took on funny shapes.

“Hello, friends!” Moon beamed at the clouds. “What shall we do tonight?”

A round cloud bounced up and down. “Let’s play a game!” it said.

“Ooh, yes!” squeaked a triangle cloud. “How about hide-and-seek?”

Moon’s eyes sparkled. “That sounds perfect!” he said. “I love finding new things!”

The rectangle cloud puffed up. “I bet you can’t find us all, Moon!”

“We’ll see!” Moon laughed. He closed his eyes and started to count.

One… two… three…

The clouds giggled and whooshed away to hide. A fun night was about to begin!

Moon guides animals using shapes, promoting problem-solving in engaging children's tale.

Moon finished counting and opened his eyes. “Ready or not, here I come!” he called.

He looked around the night sky. Where could his cloud friends be hiding?

First, Moon peeked behind a round pond. The water sparkled like a mirror.

“Are you here?” he asked. But no one answered.

Moon floated over to some triangle mountains. Their pointy tops tickled the stars.

“I see you!” Moon giggled. But it was just his own reflection.

Next, he looked behind some rectangle trees. Their leaves rustled in the breeze.

“Found you!” Moon said. But it was only a night owl saying “Hoot!”

Moon spotted some houses below. They had square windows that glowed warmly.

“Aha!” he exclaimed. But he only saw families getting ready for bed.

Moon counted the shapes he’d seen: “One round pond, two triangle mountains, three rectangle trees, four square windows.”

Suddenly, he heard a soft giggle. It came from behind a curvy hill.

Moon rushed over. “Got you!” he shouted happily.

All his cloud friends popped out, laughing. They had been hiding together!

“You found so many shapes while looking for us,” said the round cloud.

Moon beamed with pride. “I did! And it was so much fun!”

As the night went on, Moon and his cloud friends played more games. They were having so much fun!

Suddenly, they heard a small voice. “Help! I’m lost!” it cried.

Moon looked down. He saw a tiny rabbit hopping in circles.

“Don’t worry, little one!” Moon called. “Follow the round path, like me!”

Moon made himself very round. The rabbit followed his shape home.

Next, an owl flew by, looking confused. “I can’t find my nest!” it hooted.

“Look for the triangle top of your tree!” Moon said helpfully.

The owl spotted its pointy tree and flew straight to its nest.

Finally, a firefly buzzed past, its light blinking sadly.

“My family is gone!” the firefly buzzed.

“See those square lights?” Moon asked. “That’s where they are!”

The firefly zipped to the square windows, finding its family.

Moon felt happy. He had helped his night friends using shapes!

As the sky began to lighten, Moon yawned. “Time for bed,” he said.

His cloud friends nodded sleepily. They all said goodnight.

Moon smiled as he closed his eyes. He couldn’t wait for tomorrow’s shape adventure!
