In a bright art corner, there lived a special red crayon named Rainbow.

Rainbow was as red as a ripe strawberry. She loved to draw all by herself.

Swish! Swish!” Rainbow danced across the big white paper.

She made beautiful red flowers and tiny hearts everywhere.

“Drawing alone is so peaceful,” Rainbow sang as she worked.

Each morning, Rainbow would wake up super early. She wanted the whole drawing corner just for herself!

“Time to make some magic!” Rainbow would stretch her waxy arms.

She practiced making perfect circles and square shapes in bright red.

Then one special morning, something new appeared in Rainbow’s corner.

What’s that?” Rainbow spotted a brand-new box of crayons on the desk.

The box opened very slowly. Out rolled several colorful new friends.

Among them was Berry, a bright blue crayon with the biggest smile.

Hello there!” Berry waved with joy. “I’m Berry!”

“Would you like to draw together?” Berry asked with a friendly bounce.

Rainbow froze in place. Share her special corner?

She had never shared her drawing space before!

Rainbow watched as Berry moved closer to the white paper.

“I like to draw on this side,” Rainbow said quickly.

“That’s okay!” Berry smiled. “I’ll draw over here.”

Both crayons started making their own special pictures.

Rainbow drew big red stars. Berry created wavy blue oceans.

Then something magical happened!

Rainbow stepped back to make a giant flower.

Berry spun around to draw a swimming fish.

BUMP! They crashed into each other by accident.

“Oh no!” they both said at the same time.

But wait! Where they touched, something amazing appeared.

A beautiful purple swirl danced across the paper!

Look at that!” Berry jumped with excitement.

“It’s so pretty!” Rainbow gasped in wonder.

“Can we do that again?” Berry asked hopefully.

Rainbow nodded with a big smile. “Let’s try!”

Together, they swirled and twirled across the paper.

They made purple butterflies and purple rainbows.

“Drawing together is more fun!” Rainbow realized out loud.

Berry giggled. “And look how beautiful our art is!”

Hey, everyone!” Rainbow called to the other crayons.

“Come see what happens when we draw together!”

Yellow Crayon hopped over first. “Can I try too?”

Of course!” Berry and Rainbow said together.

They showed Yellow how to mix and blend.

Magic happened again and again!

Red and Yellow made bright orange swirls.

Blue and Yellow created beautiful green waves.

Soon, the paper was full of amazing colors!

“Our picture is better than ever!” Rainbow danced happily.

“That’s because we’re all sharing!” Berry smiled wide.

Every crayon added something special to their art.

Now Rainbow’s corner was full of new friends.

Sharing is magical,” Rainbow told her crayon buddies.

And from that day on, they always drew together!

Let’s talk about the story!
