In a cozy wood stood a magical house. Its walls could change colors just like a rainbow! This was Honesty House, where the Cottontail family lived.

Little Prairie was a special bunny. She had snow-white fur and bright purple eyes. She lived with her mama and papa in the magical house.

One sunny morning, Prairie watched the walls glow. They sparkled with a warm golden light.

“Mama, why do our walls change color?” Prairie asked.

Mama’s whiskers moved as she smiled. “Our house has special magic, dear,” she said. “It knows when we tell the truth.”

“That’s why we say: In Honesty House, every word must be true!

The walls twinkled like tiny stars. Sweet smells of carrot cake filled the air. Happy giggles bounced off the walls.

“Look!” Prairie jumped up and down. “The walls are turning pink!”

Papa patted Prairie’s soft head. “That’s because you’re sharing your happy feelings,” he said. “Our house loves truth most of all.”

One afternoon, Prairie was hopping around the kitchen. She loved watching Mama’s special teacup sparkle on its shelf.

The teacup had tiny painted flowers all over it. It was Mama’s favorite thing in the whole house.

Crash!

Prairie’s tail bumped the shelf. The beautiful teacup fell down and broke.

“Oh no!” Prairie’s heart went thump-thump-thump.

The walls of Honesty House began to change. Their bright colors turned dim and grey.

Prairie felt scared. “Maybe I can hide the pieces,” she whispered.

The walls grew even darker. They turned the color of storm clouds.

Prairie’s tummy felt funny. Her ears drooped low. She knew why the walls were dark.

“Should I tell Mama?” she wondered. “But what if she gets mad?”

The walls swirled with shadowy colors. They seemed to whisper, “Remember our rule.”

Prairie looked at the broken pieces. She looked at the dark walls. She had to make a big decision.

Prairie took a deep breath. She hopped to find her mama.

“Mama,” Prairie said in a tiny voice. “I need to tell you something.”

The walls began to brighten just a little.

“I was in the kitchen, and…” Prairie’s eyes got wet. “I broke your special teacup.”

Whoosh!

The walls burst into beautiful colors! They glowed like a rainbow after rain.

Mama hugged Prairie very tight. “Thank you for telling me the truth, sweet bunny.”

“You’re not mad?” Prairie sniffled.

“I’m a little sad about my teacup,” Mama said. “But I’m so proud of your honesty!”

The walls sparkled with golden light. They danced with happy colors.

“Look at our house now!” Papa called. “It’s celebrating your brave truth!”

Prairie felt warm inside. The house glowed with bright joy.

“Being honest feels better than hiding,” Prairie smiled.

The next morning brought a special surprise. Papa had an idea.

“Let’s fix the teacup together!” he said.

Prairie helped Papa gather the pieces. Mama brought out special glue.

They worked as a family team. Each piece fit like a tiny puzzle.

“Look!” Prairie pointed. The walls glowed with gentle colors.

The fixed teacup wasn’t perfect. It had little lines where it broke.

“Now it tells a special story,” Mama smiled. “A story about telling the truth.”

Prairie touched the teacup carefully. “It’s even more special now,” she said.

The house filled with warm light. The walls sparkled like morning sunshine.

“In Honesty House, every word must be true,” Prairie sang. “And that makes everything better!”
